Still working on the shopping cart functionality. Security is the main priority, and verifying it through testing is what I'm going through now.  It will be nice when I can finally work it all out so I can put more of my time and energy into the actual photography.  Definitely been some distractions today, mainly the Japan earthquake. Praying for a quick recovery.

I have been contemplating a program of some kind to support our deployed troops, by allowing you to make a reasonable offer to purchase a framed print for a soldier, airman, marine, or seaman, by making a reasonable offer. You could also purchase the print for yourself, and all proceeds except for the cost of shipping, framing, and printing would go to purchase of care packages for the troops. Your offer would be the important part of a program like this.  Perhaps something like this could be setup for helping out those suffering in Japan, Haiti, and even here in the US. I'll let you know if and when I roll this out.

photography has been a passion of mine since I received my first polaroid as a kid in upstate New York, back in the '70s. since then, I retired from the Air Force and have spent 15 years working in the IT field. as I near retirement, and armed with a business degree, I've begun to get back into taking photos. mostly nature photos, candid shots of people, pets, and wildlife.  I have shot a few weddings for family and friends, and also the birth of my new grand children. Now, I'm turning my passion into a business, one photo at a time. in this blog I plan to write about my experiences along the way.  please, I welcome your comments as long as they are constructive.
