Still working on the shopping cart functionality. Security is the main priority, and verifying it through testing is what I'm going through now. It will be nice when I can finally work it all out so I can put more of my time and energy into the actual photography. Definitely been some distractions today, mainly the Japan earthquake. Praying for a quick recovery. I have been contemplating a program of some kind to support our deployed troops, by allowing you to make a reasonable offer to purchase a framed print for a soldier, airman, marine, or seaman, by making a reasonable offer. You could also purchase the print for yourself, and all proceeds except for the cost of shipping, framing, and printing would go to purchase of care packages for the troops. Your offer would be the important part of a program like this. Perhaps something like this could be setup for helping out those suffering in Japan, Haiti, and even here in the US. I'll let you know if and when I roll this out. Add Comment Post Title. 03/04/2011
Added some of my favorite bird images to the nature gallery. Also added a few winter bridge scenes to the slide show on the main page. Still struggling with the ordering functionality... it has to be secure and there are so many variables involved. The difficulty is passing the chosen variables to the shopping cart, as it is kind of limited to just item, item description, and price. Right now if you want to order a print, please put into the comments as much information as possible. Information such as size, framing, matting, print medium. I will let you know if what you want is possible, and what the price will be. Otherwise without that information, I will send you suggestions and pricing, so you can decide. | bill hathawayphotography has been a passion of mine since I received my first polaroid as a kid in upstate New York, back in the '70s. since then, I retired from the Air Force and have spent 15 years working in the IT field. as I near retirement, and armed with a business degree, I've begun to get back into taking photos. mostly nature photos, candid shots of people, pets, and wildlife. I have shot a few weddings for family and friends, and also the birth of my new grand children. Now, I'm turning my passion into a business, one photo at a time. in this blog I plan to write about my experiences along the way. please, I welcome your comments as long as they are constructive.
